We pride ourselves on professionalism. All of us at Firma Financial Planning are fiduciaries for our clients first and foremost. We have degrees in Finance and Economics along with an advanced CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. We are not here to sell you a product. Finance is our profession as well as our hobby.
We have a process to help you become an educated consumer. You will leave the experience feeling more knowledgeable than you when you arrived. I believe this is where we begin to separate ourselves from the other ‘transactional’ type of advisors. We are analysts and educators. Once people meet with us and feel that experience, it gives them the confidence to move forward with their plan. We often say around our office that being someone’s go-to resource for their life savings is of the highest honor.
We have a high degree of confidence in our platform. We believe it encompasses our core beliefs of maintaining liquidity, risk efficient rate of returns, cost efficiency and transparency. By and large our firm operates on a fee-only agreement with our clients. We trust that the overall cost structure associated with our portfolios compares quite favorably to our competition. And if for some reason it didn’t, our process would help show you that as we can look at everything side by side.
Our wrap-fee account structure aligns our goals. We both want the account to grow. You will not get a call from us recommending a change in allocation and wonder “are they making this recommendation to generate more commissions for themselves?” No. We only make changes if we believe it will help the account grow. We believe this arrangement to be superior for those reasons. It gives our clients an added layer of confidence in working with us.
